Hello! If you are reading this then you are probably a little bit curious as to what exactly Z31parts.com is, or how it came to be.

My name is Jason Butts and I have owned, driven, repaired and modified Z31's for over a decade. These cars are my primary passion the automotive world; although I will admit I own many other cars and share a love for just about every under-appreciated sports car produced. Every single product or service we offer has been tested or installed on my 1984 300ZX. I run Z31Parts as a side-business to my full-time life, regular job and continuing education. All Z31Parts products are put through a standard product development cycle in which they are thoroughly tested, revised and released when they exceed all requirements. I do my best to answer individual customer questions via E-mail and fill orders on a regular basis.

Z31Parts.com is exclusively interested in providing a wide variety of specialty parts and services designed for the Z31 model (1984-1989) Nissan 300ZX.

While often entirely overlooked, many people don't see that the Z31 platform has great potential, but severely underdeveloped aftermarket support. My experience is that most people see the Z31 as a slow and boring (read: stereotypical) 80's car. Oddly enough, these are usually the same people whom have never driven a Z31 300ZX, let alone owned or modified one. "Once you get inside a Z, a Z will get inside of you" is an old Nissan slogan that really is true. The platform blends a very well-balanced chassis (50/50 weight distribution for most models, and fully independant suspension) with a smooth, responsive and overly stout powertrain. With many other areas that can be vastly improved upon, they are a good platform for building a budget street rocket or race car. Unfortunately, very few aftermarket companies have embraced the Z31 300ZX to help shed it from its highly ill-deserved red-headed-stepchild persona in the Z-car community...

This lack of aftermarket support puts people looking to modify Z's in a bit of a situation. They can either pay lots of money to have a speed shop attempt to modify their cars for them (weather or not they know anything about Z31's aside for it having two doors), or they can attempt to fabricate or have fabricated their own "one-off" parts for their car usually at very high prices.

In early 2003, I recognized the need to develop a high quality, durable and high strength replacement engine isolator for my then 400+hp Z31 which began to tear stock units within days. This was the first product I ever manufactured and sold myself, and over time became a very popular item in the Z31 community. Moving to the present, all Z31Parts.com products are tested and developed on my own and various community member vehicles. Feedback can always be had by searching or asking on any of the Z31 Forums on the internet: "But don't take my word for it!"

Q: Do you, or will you design and manufacture parts for any other vehicles?
A: No, at least not currently. Some parts can fit other applications because of common design and specification between many Nissan vehicles.

Q: Why is there no contact phone number or address listed on your website?
A: Z31Parts is not a full-time business with regular daily operating hours. Contact via e-mail is greatly preferred because it allows me to reply when I have the time to do so. I operate entirely from my residence, and do not have a retail location or a fixed address that can be listed on the website.

Q: Are your products covered by any kind of warranty?
A: YES! All products are covered under warranty against failure from manufacturing defects for a period of 1 full year from the date of sale. If you ever have a problem with any Z31Parts product, please contact me.

Q: How soon will my order be shipped out?
A: I make an effort to ship all orders for in-stock items in a timely fashion. Generally, most orders are shipped within 48 hours. As I have many other things going on in life, some orders do get delayed for longer periods of time.

Q: Can I get a tracking number for my order?
A: The vast majority of orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail because it has been by far the fastest and most reliable method. Unfortunately, the USPS does not provide in-transit tracking information. We can and do provide tracking numbers for the few orders that are shipped UPS.
